Relief for Dry Cracked Paws and Crusty Noses

Product Information

Protective and repairing care for your dog's paws, nose, and elbows.
Dogs were always barefoot.   This was fine until they started walking on pavement and sidewalks.

  • In hot weather, pavement can burn or damage a dog's paws.
  • In winter, bitter cold weather, as well as walking on de-iced sidewalks that dry their pads, make a dog especially susceptible to chapped, cracked paws and dry pads.
  • Any time of the year they can encounter sharp objects (rocks, thorns, glass, etc.) that can puncture pads and lodge in their paws.

A dog's nose is very sensitive and can become painful when the tissues become dry, cracked, or chapped.   Many dogs, as they age, develop "crusty" nose.   Other dogs acquire a "crusty" nose from nosing in the dirt.   Too much sun exposure and allergies from plastic feeding bowls are other nose problems.

Formulated from all natural human-grade ingredients to protect, heal, and moisturize your dog's nose and paws.   Our moisturizing balm is safe if ingested.

We selected organic coconut oil and castor oil because of their essential fatty acid profiles.   These profiles show them to be among the oils highest in ant-fungal, anti-viral, anti-microbial, and anti-bacterial properties.   The essential oils we have chosen are recognized for their ability to soothe dry flaky skin and rejuvenate and stimulate tissue regeneration.

Prior to walking your dog, massage Moisturizing Balm into their paws.   This will combat the painfully dry or chapped paws that may occur in extreme weather from hot, icy, or salted sidewalks.   Afterwards, wash their paws, towel dry, and massage in more Moisturizing Balm.

Moisturizing Balm should be applied to the dog's nose at least twice daily, depending on the amount of inflammation.   Before bedtime is especially crucial since healing and regeneration occur during sleep.
