What is Silica?

It has been shown to be essential to human health, especially as we age. In the past, we were able to obtain sufficient silica from our foods to sustain good health, but modern refining methods have removed silica from our foods, making it harder to obtain. Because it occurs naturally in foods and in our bodies, silica is considered safe and nontoxic.
